Hi, I'm
Paul Talbot-Greaves
I'm an artist, author and tutor with a 30 year long passion for painting.
I'm passionate about
capturing the moods of the landscape environment, particularly through the use of light to depict those idyllic days where shadows dance through the woods as you walk the dog, or those brooding moods that chase you off the moor and back to a coffee by a cosy log fire.
My passion for art began...

when I was five years old and that vision has never wavered throughout my life. Now into my 26th year as a full time painter, author, and tutor, I am proud to have my work distributed throughout the globe, with four published art books, and highly regarded as a popular tutor in the world of painting. In 2023 I was elected as a member of the prestigious Royal Institute Of Painters In Watercolours.

varies between three disciplines of watercolour, acrylic and oil, of which I have been labelled a master painter by fellow artists and professional bodies in the creative sector. My landscape work often reflects the rugged scenery of the Yorkshire hills where I live, drawing my inspiration from historical connections using layers of colour, texture, shapes and patterns applied with energy and feeling.Â

many articles for The Artist magazine (UK), have four practical art books published and I've contributed to various others. I'm represented by numerous galleries based around the North of England.
